Currently, the authorized vaccines for COVID-19 are Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine and Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine. Some minor side effects(from the CDC) could be

  • Swelling
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Tiredness
  • Headache

You can find your nearest location to get vaccinated on this website. The COVID-19 vaccines have proven to be very effective and so far, over 55.2 million people have received the vaccine. People who work on the frontline and older people were prioritized for the COVID vaccine. We at Salud, have multiple vaccination centers open throughout the United States. And people can schedule appointments for vaccinations through our products and services page. Unfortunately, the authorized COVID vaccines right now are not tested for children below 16. Although, several companies are currently testing vaccines for children. This COVID vaccine is exceptionally safe and receiving the vaccine is important. Asympotamic means no symptoms And yes, people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus. So, it is always best to stay within 6 feet of everyone, regardless of their symptoms.

Symptoms could appear within 2-14 days after contracting the virus The CDC says that some common symptoms are
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

It depends. But, the majority of people affected by COVID recover relatively quickly. Although, some cases could take weeks or even months to recover from.

A quarantine of 14 days after traveling will make the chances of transmission almost eliminated. Or testing within 3-4 days or arrival and a 7 day quarantine is a good way to minimize risk of transmission.

Stay inside and away from everyone. Including people in your home. Be rested and stay hydrated. Stay in contact with your doctor and keep a check on your symptoms.
